Mary DeYoung


Mary is a shareholder with Soha & Lang. Mary provides clients advice and represents them in litigation, on claims raising a variety of issues arising under property and casualty policies. These include claims involving environmental liabilities, construction defects, employment relationships, business and intellectual property torts, business interruption losses, professional liability, directors and officers liability, automobile and homeowners liability, and insurer insolvencies, among others. She focuses her practice in the areas of insurance coverage, insurance guaranty fund law and appeals. In this capacity, Mary has counseled insurance companies and represented them in coverage disputes, bad faith litigation and appeals for over 30 years. When not practicing law, Ms. DeYoung likes to be outside, where her favorite activities include golfing, boating and gardening.



Mary is admitted in Washington federal and state courts.
