Matthew A. Miller
Matthew Miller was born and raised in a small farm town in Eastern Washington. In 1995, he graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A. in English Literature, and in 1998, he obtained his J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law. After graduating from law school and for nearly eight years, Matt served as a Judge Advocate in the United States Army. His first tour of duty was with the 101st Airborne Division in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and Vitina, Kosovo. He also served as Chief, Claims Division for United States Army Alaska, and legal advisor to Bassett Army Community Hospital in Fairbanks, Alaska. Matt's final military assignment before leaving the military as a Major was as a medical claims attorney and legal advisor for Madigan Army Medical Center which is just south of Tacoma, Washington. Prior to joining Soha & Lang, Matt also worked as an associate at a small medical malpractice defense firm in Seattle. Matt's practice includes medical malpractice defense, professional licensure law, and health care risk management and ethics.
When not in the office, Matt enjoys hiking with his Siberian Husky and his Black Lab, cooking, playing ultimate frisbee, kayaking, and rock climbing.
